Elsasser: Hansi on Second Alsace!

Our Elsasser costume has been blogged on an Alsacian site.
It's the first time in my whole life that someone writes I'm trendy! ^.^

Read this very nice article (in French) on Second Alsace.

Rough translation:
« Never forget the basics ». This saying normally attributed to sport coaches applies to many other areas in SL, whether it be landscaping, uploading a texture, building, or designing clothes. That's where the RL roots of the avatars often show through: we create about what we know!

Raindrop Drinkwater, young designer, has been active for over a year in SL. The A2NZ clothe designer felt compelled to recreate the traditional Alsacian costume within the metaverse. Connoisseur will recognise the Pays de Hanau- and Kochersberg's "Hansi" costume, made famous by Jean-Jacques Waltz and Spindler's work.

Beyond folklore, this trend allows avatars lost in the immensity of metaverse to find their marks. For example, traditional Scottish costumes, complete with kilts and realistic Scottish families tartans, can be bought in SL.

Signs of this trend, meeting avatars dressed in kimonos, Bavarian costumes, or Russian clothes isn't uncommon. Tradition has made an entrance into the metaverse, such linking virtuality to reality. We will watch this new development with interest.
